roasted brussel sprouts


Brussel sprouts, cut in half or into quarters

Olive oil

Salt and pepper

Garlic Powder

Red pepper flakes, optional

savory honey drizzle, optional


Preheat oven to 425. on a sheet pan or in baking dish, lay the brussel sprouts in a single layer. drizzle with olive oil, and season well with seasonings. Roast for about 35-45 minutes, or until the brussel sprouts are crispy. sprinkle with additional seasonings if necessary. serve warm. Enjoy!

*note: it’s important to lay the brussel sprouts in a single layer or they will steam instead of roast.

*additional notes: i added a savory honey drizzle on my brussel sprouts when they had about 10 mins left. the drizzle consistent of: about 1/2 cup of honey, 1-2 tbsps of apple cider vinegar, pepper, and haberno seasonings (use cayenne if you don’t have that). the honey will burn with the high heat and help with cripsiness.
