8 oz of yellow cheddar, yellow american, or white american cheese
8 oz of monterey jack or pepperjack cheese
8 oz of cream cheese
1-4.5oz can of diced green chiles
1-4.5oz can of jalapenos, optional
Up to ½ cup of milk, optional
Salt and pepper
Put all ingredients in your crockpot (season with spices to taste) and cook on high for approximately 1.5 hours, or low for 3 hours. Stir occasionally to smooth out cheese. Add milk for smoother, less chunky queso. Once cooked, turn crockpot to ‘keep warm’ feature so it doesn’t burn. Serve with tortilla chips, toasted bread, or veggies. Enjoy!
