chipotle lime shrimp tacos



2 tbsps of olive oil

½ lb of shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail off (or about 4-5 shrimp per taco)

1 bell pepper, sliced, optional for topping

1 tbsps of chipotle seasoning (store bought or homemade)

Juice of 1 lime

Tortillas of choice

Cilantro, optional for topping

½ avocado, optional for topping

Any additional toppings of your choice

Cast iron pan



In a cast iron pan, heat oil over medium high heat. While the oil heats, season the shrimp and peppers with the chipotle seasoning and lime juice. Cook the shrimp and peppers in the cast iron pan for about 4-5 minutes. The shrimp are done when they turn pink. If you want your peppers more charred, continue cooking for a couple minutes after you take the shrimp out the pan. To assemble the tacos, layer the shrimp, peppers, cilantro, and some avocado in your tortilla. Serve warm. Enjoy!
